Love, Edinburgh
Journey with us from the ramparts at Edinburgh Castle as we search out hidden closes on The Royal Mile, marvel at the sun catching the spires of St Giles' Cathedral, and enjoy winter views of the Palace at Holyroodhouse.
It's amazing how beautiful the city, and it's a photographer's dream to be able to wander around and look for the best views, something lockdown has made east to do!
All the photographs were taken this year. The photos of Calton Hill were taken in July. The winter shots of the palace were taken in November. The views from Edinburgh Castle were taking as it reopened, and we set out to be #hametowntourist. We missed the first day, but it was a beautiful, clear day on the 1st August. The view of Fife and east to the sea are stunning.
