Love, Edinburgh 2024
Journey with us from the ramparts of Edinburgh Castle, to the hidden closes on The Royal Mile, and marvel at the sun catching the spires of St Giles' Cathedral and enjoy winter views of the Palace at Holyroodhouse.
It's amazing how beautiful the city is, and it's a photographer's dream to be able to wander around and look for the best views of the city, something lockdown made easy to do!
The photos of Calton Hill were taken in July. The winter shots of the palace were taken in November. The views from Edinburgh Castle were taking as it reopened, and my brother and I visited for the first time since we were kids. We missed opening day, but it was a beautiful, clear day on the 1st August. The view of Fife and east to the sea are stunning.
Why buy this calendar?
It's original. All the photographs were taken by Edinburgher and Scot, Sharon McMenemy Khan. Sharon's work (published as Lorimer) has been published on 2 out of 5 of the top news websites in the world.
Why buy the book of photos?
It's designed to be framed! Each photo has a white border so that you can order a mount and choosing a frame without compromising the photograph. The paper is 250gsm silk, ensuring that the photograph looks good on the wall.
